Joining Repuddle is quick and easy. Simply click on the 'Create Account' button, positioned either at the top right of the home page inside the Login prompt, or below the page content, and follow the prompts to create your account.

2. Verify your E-mail address

After signing up, you'll need to verify your email address to gain access to all features. Check your inbox for a verification email from Repuddle and follow the instructions to complete the process.

3. Account Requirements

Once your account is verified, you'll have access to write short-form posts known as 'reps.' To unlock the ability to create Articles and Lounges, you'll need to meet specific 'Creator' requirements outlined in the 'Creator Requirements' section.

There are two types of verified users: Classic Verified and Verified Writer. Learn more about the requirements to become either from the Creator Requirements section.

Verified users can earn three types of badges: Classic Verified and Verified Writer. These badges distinguish verified users and highlight their contributions to the Repuddle community.

3. Verified Writers

Verified Writers include journalists and users who have successfully completed our 'Creator' verification process.

Creator Requirements

1. Writer Account Status

To qualify as a Writer and gain access to writing articles, you must meet the following criteria:

• Your account must be over 1 week old.
• You must have a clear and concise bio on your profile.
• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You must have a clean record of violations of our rules.

For individuals who seek access to creating lounges, additional criteria apply:

• You must meet all requirements outlined above.
• You should have at least 15 articles published in the past 2 months, meeting all quality criteria outlined in the creation page.

2. Verified Account Status

Verified users gain immediate access to writing articles and creating lounges and have no restrictions on username changes.

For businesses:

• You must be a legally operating business in any part of the world.

For individuals:

• Have a Writer account status
• Reach at least 10,000 total views for the past 3 months
• Have written a minimum of 30 articles, meeting all quality criteria outlined in the creation page (in total)
• Accumulate a minimum of 1,000 hours of total reading time across your articles for the past 3 months

⚡ Fast track to becoming verified:

• If you are already verified on any other social media platform with similar requirements

or

• If you have demonstrated a significant presence or influence in your field, industry, or community (such as an already established foreign media writer).

or

• If you are an individual or entitiy that is of public interest or significance, such as a celebritiy, public figure, brand, or an organization.

If you receive an email regarding password reset or a code request that you did not initiate, follow these steps:

1. Verify Email Authenticity

Check the sender's email address carefully to ensure it is legitimate. Be cautious of emails from unknown or suspicious sources.

2. Do Not Click on Links

Avoid clicking on any links or buttons provided in the email, as they may lead to malicious websites or phishing attempts.

3. Report Suspicious Activity

1. Classic Verified Profile vs. Verified Writer

A Classic Verified Profile is available to users verified on other platforms, or already verified writers, who have proven their passion for writing.

Verified Writers can be either already established foreign media outlet writers or Repuddle users who have been accepted through our writer verification process.

2. Applying for Verification

How can I apply for classic or writer verification?

3. What is a "rep"?

A "rep" is what we call the short text form posts that appear on the reps page. If you are not feeling like you need to write a whole article, you can briefly express yourself in a shorter form there.

4. How can I contribute articles to Repuddle?

You can contribute articles by creating posts and selecting the "Article" format.

Before you gain access to contribute articles or create lounges, you must first meet some requirements, which are outlined in the 'Creator Requirements'.

5. Exiting Beta Phase

The beta was concluded in the beginning of August, 2024. We exited when we felt basic functionality of the website was complete and tested.

6. How do I report copyright infringement?

Click the "Report" option on the post or article in question.
