“Twitter has become kind of the de facto town square, so it’s just really important that people have the, both the reality and the perception that they are able to speak freely within the bounds of the law,” Elon said during a TED interview in April.
After acquiring Twitter for over $44 billion, Elon seems to have acted on his words. Andrew Tate's Twitter account (@Cobratate) appeared back online from vacation with a post, in which Andrew wrote:
"Mastery is a funny thing. It’s almost as if, on a long enough time scale, losing simply isn’t an option. Such is the way of Wudan."

7 hours after that post, he tweeted another one, him and Steven Seagal smoking cigars, with a quote:
"I have no fear of death. More importantly, I don’t fear life."

Elon Musk still hasn't posted anything specific about Andrew Tate, but he stated in a tweet that the accounts of Kathy Griffin (@kathygriffin), Jordan Peterson (@jordanbpeterson) and The Babylon Bee (@TheBabylonBee) have also been reinstated and that the Trump decision still hasn't been made:
Kathie Griffin, Jorden Peterson & Babylon Bee have been reinstated.

Trump decision has not yet been made.
Elon actually started a 24-hour Poll on his Twitter if he should unban Donald Trump. So far, 2 hours in, the poll has over 3,6 million votes. 56,6% voted Yes, 43,4% voted No:
Reinstate former President Trump

Will other Social Media companies do the same and unban Andrew? Probably not. But at least he still got his Twitter back.
