Propstore – one of the world’s leading Entertainment Memorabilia Auctioneers, has announced the results from the first day (Thursday 3rd November) of one of the world’s largest live auctions of film, television and music memorabilia, with items on offer fetching over £9 million ($10.5 million).
Over 1,500 lots were sold during Propstore’s unique Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th November 2022. On the 4th of November (Friday), the second day of the auction was entirely dedicated to music – a first for Propstore. The live auction was being held at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, London as well as online or via telephone for global bidding.

JAMES BOND: GOLDENEYE (1995) James Bond’s (Pierce Brosnan) Hero Walther PPK - £162,500 ($186,875)
The Hero Walther PPK pistol used by Pierce Brosnan as James Bond in the 1995 James Bond movie: Golden Eye, has been sold for over £160,000 ($185,000) in the Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction on PropstoreAuction.com. Read the Expert's Notes here.
Bond's weapon of choice, the Walther PPK, was used up to and including 'Tomorrow Never Dies', when he then switched to the Walther P99.
James Bond's Hero Walter PPK is one of the headlining items that were sold on the first day of the film, television and music Memorabilia Live Auction organized by Propstore. It is one of the most expensive items sold, along with The Hollowed-Out Rockhammer Bible from Shawshank Redemption, The Superman Costume Worn By Christoper Reeve in Superman: The Movie (1978-1987), Michael Myers' Mask from Halloween 1998, Darth Vader's Gloves from Star Wars, Gandalf's Sword and many more which we'll be writing about in our upcoming articles.
