Korean streamer Joel, known on Kick.com as kangjoel, found himself in the midst of an unexpected, but well anticipated by the chat situation during a recent live stream in Cape Town, South Africa. The incident unfolded after an hour long ordeal between Joel, a homeless guy (Warren) and a homeless woman, who was begging the streamer for food/money, and would refuse to leave despite their multiple requests.
Joel decided to outsmart her by calling an Uber and setting the destination as the police station. Unfortunately, we wouldn't see how that plays out, as the situation escalated the moment he got inside the car.
In the video below, you can see her blocking the car door with her body and begging him to give her "something." When he rejected her one last time, she attempted to sit inside the car, which prompted the driver to get involved, ultimately putting more pressure on her. As the camera panned away, she supposedly snatched Joel's tripod (which he later stated costs around $100) and ran out. The driver must have witnessed everything, as he was already out of the car, before Joel realized what happened.

Warren expressed his frustration after the fight, by stating:
"People like her are the reason I get told to go away whenever I ask someone for something."
Her persistence had created a mentally taxing atmosphere, particularly for him, who had repeatedly asked her to move on. At one point, he even made a dark-humored joke about pushing her in front of a passing car while they were walking near traffic.
This moment is the first interaction between Joel and Warren on stream, just the day before.
This incident serves as a unique and thought-provoking moment from Joel's live stream, offering viewers a glimpse into the complex dynamics that can arise in the interactions between those in need and individuals trying to help, or not wanting to. While the situation may have concluded with tension and unease, it reflects the challenges faced by those living on the streets and the difficulties streamers like Joel encounter in their quest to entertain and connect with their audience.
