As a new user, once you've verified your account, you can start writing short-form posts (reps).
Creating Articles and Lounges is reserved for users who have reached the 'Creator' requirements. Familiarize yourself with our Terms of Service before diving into content creation on Repuddle.
Beta Launch
Repuddle's Beta launched earlier this (2024) year, and has concluded the beginning of August. Although we are no longer in beta, we're still continuously improving and adding new features.
We didn't have a specific launch date; we went live when development was complete, and exited when we felt basic functionality of the website was complete and tested. For any issues/bugs, please report them to us at: bugs@repuddle.com
Verification
Immediate verification is available for users verified on other platforms.
Verified users can earn two types of badges: Classic Verified and Verified Writer.
Verified Writers can be journalists or users who have successfully completed our 'Creator' verification process.

If you believe someone is using your work without permission, please use the report option on the post or article.

What's the difference between a Classic Verified Profile and a Verified Writer?
A Classic Verified Profile is available to users verified on other platforms, or already verified writers, who have proven their passion for writing.
Verified Writers can be either already established foreign media outlet writers or Repuddle users who have been accepted through our writer verification process.
How can I apply for verification as a journalist or writer?
Reach out to us via email to request the verification process.
What's a "rep"?
A "rep" is what we call the short text form posts that appear on the reps page. If you are not feeling like you need to write a whole article, you can briefly express yourself in a shorter form there.
How do I report copyright infringement?
Click the "Report" option on the post or article in question.

How can I contribute articles to Repuddle?
You can contribute articles by creating posts and selecting the "Article" format.

> Adjust the trigger and throttle delay in the popup by clicking on the new options button and adjusting the default values.
Manually inject buttons: In the previous update, it became apparent that the buttons wouldn't inject if the user loads the youtube home page and in under a second selects a video, which prompted the need to refresh the page in order to load them.
> The way the extension detects if you are on a video page is adjusted, and there is a slight delay in the initial load of the buttons, which should fix the above issue.
> In the rare case of the buttons not automatically appearing, you can now manually inject (insert) them in the player by clicking on a button in the extension popup.
Note:
Your customized trigger/throttle delay values are saved instantly and persist across all open (youtube) tabs. However, please remember that clearing your browser cache or cookies will reset these settings.
No changes have been made to the skip intervals, which remain with a maximum limit of 99 seconds.
